National Institute for Science and Civic Engagement

The National Institute for Science and Civic Engagement (NISCE) is a non-profit, tax exempt corporation (501c3) established to develop and implement research, planning, programming and dissemination of educational initiatives that advance STEM learning, the public understanding of science, and civic engagement with the goal of addressing social and civic challenges.  NISCE is the legal and fiscal umbrella for the National Center for Science and Civic Engagement (NCSCE) and the suite of projects organized under SENCER (Science Education for New Civic Engagements and Responsibilities.
