The SENCER program continues to add courses to its Model Series and would like to invite faculty to submit for their courses for consideration. SENCER models are courses that teach STEM content “through” complex and contested civic challenges. Here is a link to the current courses and submission guidelines.
SENCER model courses typically have been taught at least three times and are peer reviewed before being added to the series. Courses at all levels of instruction are eligible. Especially welcome are upper division, major, and graduate-level offerings, as well as courses that integrate STEM and Humanities content. Submissions are considered on a rolling basis, though must be sent in byJune 1, 2017to be reviewed, approved, and announced at the2017 SENCER Summer Institute.
